For me, exercise doesn't help me lose weight, but it can definitely make me feel better. There are a lot of good points in this article. My biggest takeaways:
1- don't compare yourself to athletes who have a lot more infrastructure and support
2- be holistic in your approach, ie. eat well!
3- find something you love
