Cake for Breakfast

At some point before I started this blog, I read an article about dieting where the control group ate a controlled number of calories throughout the day, and the experimental group ate the same number of controlled calories, with the addition of a piece of cake for breakfast.

The control group fared better! There were two reasons: 1) eating carbs in the morning give you energy and a chance to burn them off, and 2) having some indulgence made participants less likely to crave bad foods and diverge from their diets!

And today I saw this!
