This goes nicely with the article I posted earlier. It's a series of charts saying how white people, particularly men, have it better than non-whites. It mentions some aspects of the feelings white people have, but seems to dismiss higher suicide rates and 11% discrimination because it's not as bad as others. But it fails to look at this number over time! Has "discrimination based on race" quadrupled over the past 5/10/20 years? What about others?
I want to take a moment to explain my view: I think history has and still favors whites. I think social policies perpetuate that and makes it more difficult for non-whites to get ahead. But I also think there are whites out there who are struggling and see these inclusive trend to be the problem. And, if we ignore these voices, as bubbles as they are, we get white supremacy movements... And that's bad for everyone.
