Pregnancy and Alcohol

I came across one article, then another and another. In fact, these probably cross reference each other. So, I've put them in order from the most recent to the oldest. And here's the gist: Since science hasn't determined where the line is drawn (about how much alcohol is too much), doctors advice against any alcohol. The complaint is, minimal alcohol consumption (defined here as 1-2 drinks a day, no more than 8 per week and no binge drinking), has shown no negative impact on babies or children.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's important to educate women on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome and universally discourage heavy drinking during pregnancy. However, I'd like to see the stigma of an occasional glass of wine go away!
