Clearly there was a point in this couple's marriage that things weren't going well. Then the author decided he wanted to make it work. Soon after his wife decided the same thing. I love it because I think it's how Tony and I approach our relationship. We are both trying to make life better for the other one. And we can also ask the person to do something, even if it's undesirable.
And I love the quotes at the bottom too.
