Marry the Perfect Person?

I personally think I did well for myself, and don't need an article to prove it. However, this article does a good job of articulating the reasons someone is truly "right" for you, IMO. The two that stand out for me are #6 and #8.

Tony and I don't always think alike, but we know how each other think. When I approach a problem, especially one that's not in my wheelhouse, I say, "What would Tony do?" and often that gets me the best result. And few things make me happier than him saying, "that's exactly what I would have done!"

I'd say this also includes doing things for our children that we don't necessarily want to do. For example, we recently went to family night at the Zoo. Our plan was to be there at 5:30, but due to some midday mishaps, it was 6:30 before we could leave, which means we'd only have about half an hour to spend there, and it's a half hour drive each way... But we went, because I wanted to go. Our daughter had a blast, and he said he went because he knew she would. We both knew.

Often, we'll go together to a store, simply to keep each other company. In the evenings, we sit together on the couch though he's usually watching TV, and I'm on my computer. It feels good just to be in the same room.
