Doctors Take Women's Pain Less Seriously

I agonized as I read this. I personally have a high tolerance for pain, so could see this happening to me. 

Note, this mentality of "your pain isn't that bad" also applies to Blacks!

Ironically this article was published on my husband's birthday. Years before I met him, he went to the ER with severe abdominal pain which he found out was due to a twisted testicle. 

Thank goodness she had an advocate!
