This headline was so strange I almost skipped it, but I'm glad I didn't. The argument is very simple: we don't give the ones we love most the benefit of the doubt and the courtesies we give to the ones we know the least.
While reading this won't change intimacy and familiarity, I think it has given me pause, in a good way!
