There have been a lot of interpretations of the Second Amendment over time. I have not been able to corroborate this one, but it seems plausible. There is definitely an underlying racism in how it's handled today. And why it is in there, whether to fight off the government or prevent slaves from running away... either way does not address the issues we have today. But I like history, and this was likely suppressed.
